the fray re-edit

This is a link to my edit of the fray re edit task

This boot-camp task was to help us see what sort of work we would be doing once we had shot our music video for our chosen artist. This task was made up of a music video that was cut up into two different shot types, synching and cut away shots. We were given the soundtrack to the video and a completed version of the music video. We used these resources to help us to piece together the music video.
This task was fairly challenging and took some time to complete. The task was very time consuming. I also found many challenges within the task. To name but a few of the problems that I found was; synching some parts of the video would knock other shots out of sync, shots kept disappearing from the folders to return at a later time and there was break in the music which also made the syncing difficult. i I found this task very useful as it made me realise how hard syncing a whole music video is, also how time consuming it can become.  The task was able to show me what to expect when it comes to editing my own music video, so when it comes to doing so, I wont feel so daunted by the work.
This task did really help me understand what I will be doing later in the year.

LMFAO party rock completed lip sync

This is my edit of the bootcamp task LMFAO lip sync.  Here we were given the task of taking the chorus of the song and lip syncing along to the words, we also had to use different type of shot angles such as low angle, high angle, close up, mid shot and mid close up and then a shot of the dancing feet. This task was to help us get an understanding of lip synching and being in front of the camera so hen we film are music videos we will be able to give reassurance and understanding to our artist, as we will know how they feel. This task also helped us to have a go and synching together the words to the lyrics in time with he music.
This task helped me to gain an understanding of what is to come when we begin to film our actual music videos for our chosen artists. This task was a good way into introducing us into what we will be doing and how some of the challenges we will face such as lip synching, and how we can overcome these challenges.
This task was a lot of fun to make, although slightly embarrassing a first but soon hose feelings were gone and we were able to get on with the task at end. Although some shots we did need to keep on reshooting as we were laughing or singing the wrong lyric. When it came to editing the clip I found this task quite daunting at first but then I carried out the task I found the lip synching easier than I had first imagined, in some places I did become stuck with making the words match up but as I carried on I soon found ways of getting over the challenge and was able to complete the task within a short amount of time.
